Description

Design and construct resilient and sustainable improvements to Emancipation Avenue including new pavement, reinforced concrete curbs and gutters, driveways, enhanced street lights, waterline, drainage, sanitary, traffic signals, crosswalk striping, minimum 6' ADA sidewalks, wheelchair ramps and multi-modal components shall be added to promote pedestrian/multi-modal activity along the corridor. Reconstruction of Street improvements from Southmore to Elgin and McGowen to Pierce and special treatments between Elgin and McGowen. special landscaping and streetscape (historical/cultural markers, pedestrian lights, benches, trashcans, etc.)
